I want to say to you, US Open staff, a massive thanks for putting a 45min extended video so early after the match: this is how all the Slams channels should work. To me, an Italian and massive fan of Jannik, this loss still hurts, but it's undeniable that we are witnessing history in the making with these two great champions. Alcaraz was the best player in the key moments and deserved to win, and we must consider ourself lucky to have watched such an high-level game, one of the best shot-making wise in the recent histoty of the sport, live with our own eyes. This game and the previous encounter in Wimbledon are the first steps of a chivalrous rivalry between the two youngsters.

45 minutes and somehow you miss the most important part of the match... the end of the 4th set where Alcaraz saved a match point and turned it around

Great highlight video, I didn’t watch the short version waiting for this one, but I really didn’t like that they showed only 4 points from the 4th set and skipped everything else including a match point for Jannik.
But I appreciate the effort and speed to post such videos 👌

The way Alcaraz digs out points is scary. I hope he can stay healthy because his athleticism and shot making are insane. Sinner is an insane talent as well

Insane level from both. Amazing rivalry for the next 15/20 years, let's see how it goes. The real next gen starts now in front of us. Enjoy!

46min extended highlights is great on one side, but not including match point Sinner and the turnaround in set 4 is a bit weird imo 🤔 - 38min in, it's still in the third set, and then the crucial phase of the match is really cut short. Don't really get it...

This match is just unreal. I know Alcaraz gets more attention for the grinding he puts into play, but the amount of crazy points from both players is just at another level. And some thought tennis would be boring without the Big 3? It will be a great loss for sure, but we have tennis to rejoice.

This match was the a thriller, actual final, based on level of play. Both players played on very high level. Hopefully there are more matches btw them ahead.

Insane match. 20:21 though, it could have ended in three hours instead of 5. That's how important a shot can be in tennis.

Thank you for this Version. Even the 45 Minutes are to short to pack all the Highlights from that match in it. Two Champions in the making!

From a technical point of view, it seems that they resemble nadal vs djokovic rivalry while in the terms of how they get along with each other, the sportmanship, and personality they bring us the fedal years...really amazing guys.

I never tought I could watch anything for 5 hours and still want more. For some reason I stopped watching tennis a long time ago (used to watch Nadal when he started), now Im back simply because of Alcaraz. This match reminded me of the 4-5hs battles from Rafa vs Roger, but what Alcaraz brings to the table it's completely unique. He is not like Rafa, or Djokovic, or Roger, he has his own style and should be recognised for that.

El mejor partido que he visto en años .Me da igual lo que haga Alcaraz, gane o pierda la semi, he visto el partido más divertido y loco en una década.

This is entertainment at the highest level. Can we compare this to the women's matches and say with a straight face that the prize money should be the same? I mean if it's modelling I'd expect women to be paid way more (which they are) because more resources should be allocated where there is more utility being produced. Call it patriarchy or capitalism but I'd say it's just common sense.

Thank you, guys of US Open media, I can't wait to see these highlights! I just have one question: in an era in which things are shared and broadcasted without difficulty in 4k, why couldn't you upload this video in, at least, 1080p? Is it a matter of contracts between you and the broadcasters? Or maybe they impede you to have the file source in native quality?
By the way, thank you very much for your work!
