Why I trade the 15 minute SPX chart

It's been an absurdly boring past few days so here's a quick description of why and how I use the 15 minute chart to trade SPX

Think this needs backtested data to prove its not more than temporary correlation. Why should the SPX should respect 15 minute levels. Its the sum of 500 stocks at any one time, 500 stocks which are all respecting individual points on their charts and reacting to events in the economy. so why should the SPX move towards these ? What else is on SPX thats regular about from open, lunch, close.
