Thanks a lotfor your video! Quick question for you: I'm trying to figure out how to import a bunch of contacts into Pipedrive. The thing is, I've got a list of around 1700 people, and many of them are from the same organization. But every time I try to import them, Pipedrive makes a separate prospect for each person. Any tips on how to import different people linked to the same prospect?

Wow, what a great video! Very detailed and easy to understand. By the way, I have a question. If I want to import data to pipedrive, but there are some duplicates with the old data, is it possible to keep the old data on Pipedrive and the new data will not be added to Pipedrive? If it's possible, how can I do that?

It looks like the Label field has moved since you recorded this, correct? At about 2:52, your screen shows the label next to the person's name, but as I'm writing this, I'm seeing it in the Summary section of the contact record.

Great video thanks, Ihave successfully contacts. Is there a way so specify which pipeline the deals go in to through the import process. I cant use stage as my 2 pipelines have the same stage names and it defaults to the first pipeline only.

Just a little note. I've been trying to import leads (person, organization - then leads) with activities into PipeDrive. If you do that in one go, the activity will not be registered to the current lead. When you view the list of leads, it will say "no activity".

What you do is:
First import person, organization, leads. Then you import activity with the lead title. Then the activity will be correct

hi, i have a problem with pipedrive import, i'm trying to upload a database (sheets) but there are some empty fields on some of the columns and pipedrive doesnt load them. is there a way to make it? Thank you

Paul, I deal with husband and wife couples who are near retirement. If I were to treat husband and wife as an "Organization", how can I include their separate phone numbers and emails in the Deal? I have this information in an Excel spreadsheet.

I imported my spreadsheet. One of the columns was Deal Title. So I have all these DEALS. But NOTHING in contacts. I assumed the Name, Address, Phone, etc that I mapped to person and org would show up in contacts. But it is blank. Also I'm a bit confused with the contacts, leads, deals. I have a list of properties and most were skip traced that may or may not be 100% accurate. So I import from Excel. Do they become contacts? Am I supposed to make cold calls to my contacts and then if they are valid, turn them into leads. Then if leads are interested in possibly selling, turn them into deals? Or do I look at the contacts to see which ones I'm interested in, turn them into leads and then cold call the leads. Then turn leads that are interested in selling into deals?

Hi, Im having a hard time mapping. For my data all I have is Company name, address and phone number. That is all I need, because I am calling for ATM placements and merchant services. So I only have 3 columns of data. Pipe drive is categorizing to the wrong fields. I essentially don't have a contact person, because I am just cold calling the businesses. All I have is organization info (address, name, phone number). I am trying to import leads by the way. which if they qualify will be pulled into my pipeline.

Should I create a generic person?
