Man i just downloaded openjdk so as to install STS and now i come to know STS comes with installed openjdk in itself, LOL

Hi,
I installed spring-tool-suite-4-4.7.0.RELEASE-e4.16.0-macosx.cocoa.x86_64.dmg, but when i try to click the icon, the app doesn't open up or show any window. Tried multiple times, but same problem.. icon bounces but nothing works.
