Some say he’s illegal in all fifty states, and that he has another helmet under his helmet.
All we know is, he’s called The Stig!

Hey everyone, we understand that this isn't a normal video of ours and that the audio isn't great. We filmed this awhile ago before having our lav mics. If we do anything like this in the future we plan to bring our more PRO filming equipment along with us instead of just GOPROS. And anyone who doesn't like the AI music or does can respond to a poll we're going to put up. We really do appreciate your feedback.

Stop worrying about not being "pro" enough. We're here because you do interesting stuff!

Eric Reminds me of my dad so much. I’ve been a subscriber for a good while, many years now and I’ve always found the videos comforting. Not just because he reminds me of my dad, but because I’m a tinkering, tech-nerd, engineer! I spend my weekends doing much smaller projects but still tinkering nonetheless! Cheers!

A couple of points: First and foremost would be safety. It wasn't mentioned, but I hope the person doing the media blasting in the media room has a filtered air supply so that they don't end up with something like silicosis. On the anodizing versus powder coating; anodizing hardens the surface resisting scratching, and should be easier to clean after an off-road session, versus powder coating which could chip off.

"THE STIG is a trademark and brand of The British Broadcasting Corporation"
That's why they couldn't do that in the Grand Tour show.

In the early 90's a friend of the family living with us had a side by side tandem recumbent bike. It was a steel tube frame and had essentially canvas hammocks for seats. There were two chains on each side with sets of gears at the pedals, mid point, and at the wheels for a ridiculous number of combinations. The chains had a tendency to jump off easily so often enough one person ended up doing all the pedaling but it was still fun and when it was all working you could really get going! I don't remember if it was a one-off project or prototype but it was certainly unusual at the time.

Nice timing, I’ve been seeing people on recumbent trikes lately. Gonna have to see what these guys offer!

The girls were hilarious. In his face, tapping on his helmet, and then get offended when he walks away.

You remind me a lot of my late uncle, who I miss very much. You definitely have a lot more information to share than him though! 😂
Thanks for always making awesome content that educates so thoroughly in a clear and concise way 👍👍

The shop manager has the same bun as the stig...

I enjoyed how his hair became more unruly as time passed. 😆

Hi @TechIngredients, please consider doing a video on hot-mixed Roman concrete. Maybe this is out of left field, but it's been a while since the self-healing properties and recipe for Roman concrete was discovered, yet I still can't find any youtube videos about it. I want to know how to make DIY self-healing concrete!
