This facility receives high praise from railway enthusiasts for its SL shows, simulators, close-up views of running vehicles, extensive dioramas, various free driving experiences, and of course, numerous valuable exhibits. Visitors can even experience raising and lowering pantographs and switching points.
Tobu Railway is a leading private railway company in the Kanto region, covering lines such as Tobu Main Line (Isesaki Line/Tobu Sky Tree Line), Nikko Line, Noda Line (Tobu Urban Park Line), and Tobu Tojo Line (Tojo Main Line, Saitama Line).
Tobu Museum is located beneath the Tobu Museum at Higashi-Mukojima Station, and is open from 10:00 to 16:30, except on Mondays and during the New Year's holiday period. With admission fees of only 200 yen (adult IC card) / 210 yen (adult cash) and 100 yen (ages 4 to middle school students), it's a fantastic value and offers plenty of enjoyment for both children and adults alike. Arigatougozaimasu for this enjoyable visit to Tobu Museum. The ground view of the passing trains was sugoi. I was glad to see the nighttime diorama with all of the train cars interior lights illuminated. That added a whole new dimension to the enjoyment of the diorama. It's great that Japan has several train museums, and I hope to be able to visit them one day. They're a great place for children and adults to enjoy, and the many simulators make it a fun, interactive experience. I'm looking forward to watching more of your train adventures. 👍🚂🙂🇯🇵
