All grading companies should give you an explanation as to why the card was graded so low.

That 87 Fleer N. Ryan looked like it might not have met SGC's minimum size requirement. Looked miscut/trimmed - from the factory - as I could see some light shinning thru on either side. I've had the same thing happen to cards I've pulled out of packs from the same year(s). If you decide to bust out either of the N. Ryan low-graded cards, measure them up before resending.

Love the Manning and Acuna Jr chrome cards. I don't understand the grades on the Ryan cards either.

Have to agree that it's such a relief to see the oldest card get a grade and not an A ! 1000% agree that they should explain why a card got an A and not number grade! Deflinley glad to see the Manning get a 8.5! !

I'm sitting on some 70's-80's Nolan Ryan cards I want graded. But after seeing this I'm wondering if it's worth it. My cards look like 7-9's in my eyes but I don't want to pay $30 a card to get back a bunch of 3-4's or A's.

Just a suggestion since u mentioned your fingerprints… bc all grading companies knock off points for fingerprints, you should wipe all your cards down with a microfiber cloth before sleeving/ toploading… will increase your grades tremendously

Love the cards you guys decide to submit, but man if you guys don’t send them a bunch of altered cards 😬 Did you find anything on that 85 Fleer Nolan? If not I would crack both the Ryan’s out and maybe resubmit them to CSG and see what they come back; my fear with sending the same cards back to the same company is they would k ow you’ve already sent them, whether or not they pay that close of attention is another story.

My favorites are the old baseball cards. I’d rather see a 4 or 5 grade on a 1950s Topps or Bowman than a 7 or 8 modern card. But that’s me. Great video as usual

the manning that was mine did good lol...and wow they are harsh at sgc on there grading they didnt do yall any justice i dont understand i mean right out the pack they are just given back bad grades lol he must of fell asleep on the job and had to rush to get the grades and was steve wondering it lol
