Since this was posted, I went down to 1 berry plantation and added the mining cart to the base to increase mining. I have yet to find any better mining pals.

Couple thoughts:
-I have my mining base doing only mining and smelting. I just bring a stack of 200 berries and drop it off. I’m early game and swimming in iron since my pals have no distractions.
-I use the fire, goat pal that can mine and run a smelter so my base produces the iron bars. You do have to queue up the bar crafting, but I feel it’s better.
-I am told the drill turtle is an amazing miner. I’ve seen him work when he’s rendered and he’s amazing. He’s not too hard to get so he’s probably the best choice

You found my main base location. It was great earlier on, but late game it is difficult to find room to place objects requiring ground.

I know the cats add inventory capacity, but Im unsure if you've ran into the boss called lunaris yet, I caught them yesterday and they have a special ability called 'Antigravity'
which also increases inventory space as long as they're in your team. just a tiny little fun fact, unsure how effective it is cause im not on the game.

also, VERY necessary tutorial so bless your soul, my friends and I have been fighting over who has to get the ore and its such a time consuming drag manually!

I don't know if you want to do this but if you set your videos up to the class vehicle it is that'll make searching for the vehicle you're looking for a slightly quicker and it's a nice touch to your channel channel

18hrs dude your slacking, expect at least 20hrs a day. 😂 is this only ps5 and pc or does x box x have it
