Fusion 360 Roadmap Update 2020

Love this roadmap, get it released asap so finally some large scale customers will accept Fusion360 as THE main CAD system. If then you guys then as well will be able to provide an ITAR complined cloud the aerospace sector will love to use it.

28:28 FINALLY. I was hoping for such a functionality. I'm working on a project right now, where i had to create 30 "helpme-sketches" to get all the weird angles for manufacturing. So happy to see this feature coming soon

I'd like to suggest something that has bothered me for quite a while and that is the lack of a consistent or outright existing _TAB_ behavior when working in configuration windows like the _Hole_ Command Settings window... I can TAB the 3D Workspace numbers, which are confusing as hell if you use anything but a simple Hole with just a diameter and a depth but I cannot TAB the fastly superior Settings window right next to my 3D Workspace - I have to click every fuckin' number in there which gets old really, really fast.

Same for the stuff like the _Passes_ tab with a truckload of possible settings when doing a _2D Contour_ milling ( Manufacturing )... Some stuff TABs ( Numericals ) and some doesn't ( Dropdowns )... argh 😭

Hey! Good job, but in any moment in the life of many project you will need some kind of structure. A profile generator y needed urgently. Weldments will be a must as well.

Mmmmm, If I rename something in the Data panel, by right clicking, for some reasons I do not know why but that new name is not reflected in the Assembly File ? 🤨 It still shows the old component name in the Tree ? Is this normal ?, And If I click open it does open my renamed file ? Am I missing something ?

Awesome to see the stuff in the pipeline. I love the 3D modelling and CAM and I have recently started using electrics too. I do think that the electronics workflow needs a lot of work to get to the same level of intuition and to get better integrated with the fusion workflow. Right now it is a bit of a hybrid between Eagle concepts and fusion. For example, multiple files for schematic, 2d and 3D PCB. Why can't these be design workspaces like Design, CAM and render? Hopefully one day soon :)

I like where Fusion 360 is going with the road map, as a solidwork/inventor user switching to Fusion 360. Although i know how to use the assembly, I think you guys should fix the assembly design and make it more intuitive like Inventor or solidworks, that is one of the biggest complaints i hear from a lot of engineers or designers.

My biggest concern with 2D adaptive clearing...The way the tools retracts and plunges down ove and over again is very frustrating. Often toolpaths are generated for clearing material that is not there. I worked with mastercam for many years and it is done much better with their dynamic toolpath. Tool retracts just a little bit or stays on same Z hight . But very good job overall, easy to learn and doesnt require me to sell my kidney to pay for the licence as mastercam does.
