The chord progression is fantastic. It's a weird song but stands out in sonic's music discography. I have no idea what the sample of the person saying "I need help"(?) is from, but from my interpretation, it is like the song is trying to emulate what drowning is like.

Honestly one of my favourites's not only in this OST but in sonic non-vocal music in general. Seriously underrated song.

I believe this tune sounds so much like the music of "The Doom" stage from Shadow The Hedgehog, as to where Shadow goes back 50 years into the past when he and Maria Robotnik try to escape the Space Colony ARK from the GUN soldiers.
