Heart wrenching- so full of love. Wistful for his childhood. Reflecting on his love for his brothers. A short life, for sure. But a life so well-lived.

This is how it is for most people after the loss of parents and any siblings. The difference is that everyone can’t compose or sing. But we all have the same moments he did. Remembering “the good old days” when we were kids and everyone was alive and we were all together. I feel sure he had those moments often after Maurice died. Even long before he had cancer. I can relate, I think allot of us can.

He sounds weak and ill but determined to finish this last piece. I cry through so many of his songs and wonder why such a beautiful soul had to suffer so much. It isn’t fair! You are so loved Robin, and I pray that you are at peace and with Mo and Andy now, and that one day you will all be together with Barry again. 🙏🌹❤️🙏🌹💙🙏🌹💜🙏🌹💖

“Sydney” (2014), the final track on Robin Gibb’s posthumous album “50 St Catherine’s Drive” (2014), is actually an unfinished demo, which was the last song the musician was working on before he passed. His widow, Dwina, said that the poignant last composition made her weep when she first listened to it. She added : [Robin] cried when he wrote it. This fragment of song is poignant, wistful, beautiful and unfinished.”

Robin Gibb worked on the piece late at night during the summer of 2011, using keyboards and iPad software in their bedroom. He had intended to finalize it in the studio with his brother Barry, but ill health prevented him from finishing the task. Dwina stated : “He missed his twin brother Maurice who had passed away, but when he closed his eyes, the three young brothers were back in Sydney, Australia, happy together with their dreams and hopes for the future. Their future creations of course affected the world.”

INDEED SO‼️ 💛🌎💜

Always loved, never forgotten, forever missed will you remain, Robin Hugh Gibb (1949 - 2012)… 🌹… & Maurice Ernest Gibb (1949 - 2003)… 🌹

This brought tears to my eyes. RIP Robin. I love your voice. I never met you on earth. Hopefully I’ll meet you in heaven. Love you and Your brothers. The thing about you and your brothers is family first. Everything about all of the Gibb family.

This was how he showed love, and he loved, was loved, and is still loved abundantly.
