Que hermoso timbre de bronce, oscuro, lleno, ahora entiendo porque a Rosa Ponselle le decían la Caruso con faldas, ambos tienen características timbricas similares, cómo ese terciopelo oscuro redondo, el vibrato regular, además que ambos tenían una zona baja muy fuerte.

For a tenor, his low range isn’t bad! It’s quite decent! Maybe not quite as good as a well trained baritone who practiced for 20 years, but Caruso already spent his years of training as a tenor.

For some reason, I read that he was a Dramatic Tenor. His voice is beautiful though.

Creo que desde el Do5 el timbre cambió. Entiendo que después de una intervención quirúrgica abandonó el Do5 y creció mucho hacia abajo alcanzarlo notas propias de un bajo cantante (lo leí en un libro especializado en el tema de la ópera).
