Inside Job is amazing for probably being forced to use the rick and morty style by the executives. They were probably held at gunpoint to choose between the family guy, big mouth, or rick and morty style and chose the one they could best work with. And they work with it great, the animation is the smoothest and most lively I've seen in a while

one thing i love about Ron’s gone wrong is that the kids act a lot more realistic than in other animated movies. The bullies usually aren’t just outright mean directly to the main character’s face. they will try to be nice to them because they think they’re actually being nice, but you can tell how much they don’t want to talk to you and that’s what can hurt the mc’s feelings the most. obviously it’s not the most realistic interaction but (coming from someone who may or may not be talking from personal experience lol) it’s better than the “give me your lunch money dweeb!” kind of bully.

“The character likes the robot more when they realize it can beat up its bullies” Next gen?

Inside Job is one of the best things Netflix has ever made.
Also, agreed about the intro. It really slaps.

Inside job deserves more than 4 minutes of coverage. This show was fantastic and I can't wait for more

Having seen the entirety of Maya, I can say that, yes, the final episode was pretty bold. But man, the ending of episode 7 truly broke me.

I was so pleasantly surprised by Maya’s quality, it’s an absolute blast to watch and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed it so far

Thank you for calling out the hypocrisy of blaming the kids themselves for being obsessed with technology, during my childhood my mother never let me go outside by myself and a lot of other parents did the same but they didn't want to go outside with us. Hell my elementary school had play equipment in the middle of the school yard they boarded up because it was deemed dangerous, so none of use built up that monkey bar upper body strength. Lawsuits and helicopter parents ruined outside play and as it was eloquently put technology was shoved in kids faces to keep them quiet. Now that's rolled over into modern parenting because the millenial parents weren't allowed to play outside either.

I once watched Inside Job with some friends and I think we’ve spent more time pausing and trying to catch all the fun references/Easter Eggs than the actual episodes first time watching, but seriously I definitely recommend it.

I’ve been watching Amphibia, and I can confidently say that Mr. Boonchuy already deserves a spot on your best animated dads list.

I'm currently really enjoying the ghost and molly mcgee. The story has a lot of heart, all of the charecters are charming, and most of the humor is great 👍 would highly recommend

I've watched all of Maya and the Three earlier this week, and I definitely recommend it! The pacing is off at times, but everything else is just so superb! Especially the animation and the characters! Chimi being the highlight for me, for reasons y'all would have to watch the show to find out.

My only nitpick about Maya is that the setting is very clearly Pre-Columbian Americas, with Maya's kingdom being based off of the Mexica (otherwise known as the Aztecs). Yet all the characters pepper Spanish terms in their dialogue, when Spanish is a completely foreign language that was forced on the Mexica and other natives by those damned conquistadors. Like, I know the creators are Mexican, with Spanish being the primary language of Mexico, and older languages like Nahuatl (the original Mexica language) can be difficult to learn. But it'd be like a show taking place in Ancient Rome but having the Romans speaking Italian instead of Latin.

You didn't have to call me out movie.

Personally Inside Job and Maya and the Three for this year on 2021 cause we really do need that light of hope right now.

I saw Ron’s Gone Wrong and I really enjoyed it. It certainly sets itself apart from The Mitchell’s Vs The Machines. I would love to go see it at the movies again

Ron got totally screwed over by his own marketing. I mean, why bother seeing a movie when the trailer tells you basically *everything that's going to happen?*

I didn't expect to like this movie this much. It was simple but heartfelt. Can't believe a children's movie nearly made me cry.

Ron's Gone Wrong was very smartly written. I love the idea that Ron having no functional programming means that both he and Barney need to learn how to be friends from scratch, the right way, the _real_ way. Great contrast with the other "best friend out of the box" bots, and great commentary on not only technology reliance, but what it means to be a friend.

You can tell friends is a masterpiece if an AI that has infinite knowledge loves it
