I absolutely disagree! I loved this novel so much. The characters are not what you expect, the setting is amazing and eerie, the slow burn is totally worth the wait and the ending is shocking and very well done. I’m actually looking for more books like this as I loved it so much.

I'll strike The Guest List from my TBR list. 😉
I can't recall why I'd put it on the list anyway!

Guys - any ideas for cool names for my October series? Help a bookworm out!

It was so bad and not really how I thought it would be. I thought at least some of the narrators would be unreliable and at least a couple of them would have been kinda cruel and judgmental. Remember, it is from their internal monologue. Think about all the times a friend of yours has openly talked sh*t to you about someone else. Now imagine what they really think inside their head; probably a lot worse lol. Just felt safe and inauthentic and the author could have really went there. Felt almost like there was this feminist undertone throughout the book. Don't think that really works when the whole entire conceit is 5 different characters with 5 distinct personalities/archetypes. She really could have made Jules a Regina George type of character. She was already unlikeable anyway. Would have been a lot of fun. Think of reality shows where they throw shade in the confessionals. The whole thing fell flat. The ending was too predictable, and and the story itself was drawn out. Plus, it is not really a whodunit when victim and murderer are revealed like 3 pages apart from each other lol.

What exactly about the bride made you almost want her to be the victim? Lol
