BEST SONG I'VE HEARD IN OVER 20 YEARS, and I'm sitting here in my bed on 6 east in the Las Vegas VA hospital. I just finished with 9 weeks of radiation and chemotherapy, oh and it wiped out my body. This Marine who once was 6'1 192, built like a house, is now under 129 pounds, but I told my wife I want this song played at my funeral the whole day. NO OTHER SONG TO BE PLAYED THE ENTIRE DAY AS THIS SONG MADE ME SMILE ONE OF MY LAST SMILES. THANK YOU JD. I OWE YOU ONE. SEE YOU ON THE OTHER SIDE MY BROTHER. SEMPER FIDELIS, CAPTAIN T, U.S.M.C. PS: Combat Marine of 5 tours, Iraq and Afghanistan, and cancer will take my life, not a bullet. Ironic huh??? Like they say, you want to hear God laugh tell him your plans. I'm the PERFECT example of that. Princeton Graduate, Marine Corps Intelligence Operator, and now cancer is taking my life as it took my sisters. She was 10 and I was 8. That's why I REFUSE to ever say WHY ME? ONLY, WHY NOT ME! My sister didn't receive half as much as I did, in regards to time on earth, so I'm MORE than Thankful and Appreciative for the life I have been given. And if you believe in God, how do you know this isn't a test of REAL FAITH??? I refuse to question the man who allowed me to survive combat, and give me a beautiful family. So I'll pass this test easily and I PROMISE to let the GOOD TIMES HELL

Saw them open for The Mavericks in Nashville had never even heard of them and immediately felt ashamed that I hadn’t. Blown away. Couldn’t wait to go buy their stuff and follow them. Such an awesome band and sound.

Im a swede in my 30's. Pretty much born up listening to 80's rock. It seems like the older I get the older the music i enjoy gets. I really love the crisp sound of 50/60's music. Its more fascinating for me to go back and discover the old then discovering the new music being made. I suppose this is a mix of both!

This song is amazing! I remember when I first heard "North side gal" I thought it was a Chuck Berry song I never heard. I thought that was the only album he did. I just looked at the views. Over a million! That's great.
