Gaming Site Kotaku is Being SHUT DOWN Soon?

It looks like this week that one of the biggest gaming websites in the world, Kotaku, may be getting shut down. The writers are scared and things are looking bad, but could this be for the best? Lets talk about that in a Dreamcastguy rant!

Kotaku is a gaming site that has had it's share of controversy. Their leaks from places like Bethesda have had them blacklisted and their writers like Jason Shcrier always seem to have a name in headlines but is this leading to terrible business? Maybe!

good news. The site was gold back when Joystiq still existed. Once they folded, Kataku transformed into a blog advert, similar to the junk mail I discard from my outside mailbox each day.

I've never gone to Kotaku, but I've heard them quoted a lot by YouTubers. Will it be tougher for YouTubers to get news?

I just go to YouTube for video game news because of the video format, I haven't gone to a site with articles for years mostly because they're so poorly written. Outside of Jeremy Parrish I can't think of one good video game writer.
