KFC (Kentucky Fried Chicken) vs. KFC (Korean Fried Chicken)

Korean fried chicken has been all the rage outside of South Korea for almost a decade. In South Korea, the number of outlets serving fried chicken has also mushroomed in the past decade. In fact, the number of outlets serving fried chicken there has now surpassed the number of McDonald's worldwide (which is around 37K). With US chain KFC operating in South Korea, the curious side of me wants to know how the quality of fried chicken served by KFC there stack up against those served locally by chains (i.e. KyoChon, Bonchon, BBQ Chicken) or by mom and pop operations (i.e Mapa Chicken). Come eat some fried chicken with me and compare KFC (Kentucky Fried Chicken) to KFC (Korean Fried Chicken)!
