A bullied child just posted his "Dear Diary" grievances on the internet. Let's not forget how this TV starved child made his money. He bought a patent for a drug that failed it's FDA testing, rebranded it and sold it as a "cure". The funny thing about most of the shows he didn't get to watch is they had the underlying message of moral and ethical consequence. Dumb shows? Yes. Valuable lessons? Also yes.

I think I'm an average American blended family parent. I raised 6 children all of whom are now productive, tax paying adults. They had overnights, AFTER homework. They had Saturday morning cartoons BEFORE working on their science projects. But, the main things I wanted to teach them were kindness, fairness and compassion. I think that they are great success stories. None of them are millionaires, but they're all decent, happy people.
