Quick update: it stopped working once it got colder going into winter And after I installed it, I built a chicken run over it, so the solar panels don’t get much sunlight.

This is the one I just bought. I hope it works. I’ve replaced our old door (which worked for many years) 3 times now with different automatic coop doors and they were all crap.

I bought one 7 months ago, it was working fine so bought a second one for my other coop 3 months later, and I wish I hadn't. The first door just stopped working after 7 months, no idea why. One morning it fully opened but kept making a noise like it had not or was jammed ; it eventually stopped after about 20 seconds. It did the same thing the next day then totally stopped working. Impossible to tell if cause it's not charging or just fried. It won't charge in the sun or with the charger, it's just dead. Over here in EU it costs 130 euros, it's a lot of momey for something so unreliable.
