Most of my HF transfer punches have been turned over to indicate that they have been used at least once over the years. Great episode on these valuable woodworking tools as when you need them, you need them. I keep two sets of VIX bits. One in my drawer slide mounting kit, and another in my drill accessories kit as they are so valuable.

Transfer punches are great in the machine shop and equally useful in the wood shop.

Thinner marking lines will give you more accuracy when you line the punch up on the cross 👍

How easily do transfer punches come out of the material if there's that little play?
