TEKKEN 8 | Mishima Dojo - How to do Perfect Electric Wind God Fist/PEWGF (Stick/Pad)

Why does this feel so much easier than the regular ewgf on pad? I’m not perfect yet but 5 minutes practicing it and I’m hitting it way more often now. Thank you I never ever ever hit these before watching your videos 😂

For the record, the alternative method for PEWGF is transitioning from forward immediately into down, down forward and skipping the neutral gap. (Its mentioned very briefly in the video)

To be fair I think many (including myself), just prefer reliably going straight into neutral and then down forward, but I still think the alternative method is worth learning since it is a skill you can transfer over and use when doing 3, 1 DF (hold) cancels, which are imperative for combo extension and wall carry🤝

so i just discovered this just now on my stream. however. I still can't get the timing right when ever i want. but i really felt it when i did it 3 times in a row. it was like bring king for a day and then going back to being a peasant.

So devil jins electric wind god fist isnt perfect? Cause i just tested the ➡️*↘️ technique and it made it SO much easier hit the electric, so i assumed when you get electric that was the pewgf

Wait so that's the input for PEWGF?! I've been inconsistently doing that input cause it was a shortcut for electrics and made it easier on pad.

I FINALLY GOT IT DOWN! Sorta... I was following the "knee touching the ground" method but i noticed i find more success by hitting the input thr milisecond Kaz recovers from the DF+2. For anyone struggling with timing.
