Your Christmas comment is so funny. I am Australian and my husband is English. He always said "there is nothing like a British Christmas". So I had one. I felt like I entirely missed Christmas that year. It was so strange for it to be cold and dark and eating Christmas lunch indoors. We have decided that whatever season Christmas is when you are little is what sets in the beautiful memories and your association to that lovely Christmas feeling. We will now takes turns at having a Summer Christmas sometimes and a Winter Christmas sometimes :)

I don't necessarily think a British Christmas is better but a cold and snowy Christmas is a must!!!! When we have a mild, wet, Christmas season, it really takes a toll on me so, I focus really hard on celebrating Christ and it brings back all of the magic!
