do we really have an aging population though? with diabetes and obesity killing off a large chunk of people in their middle ages, plus the fact that infant mortality was the main factor contributing to low life expectancy averages in the past.... Could it be that we just have A really high population and better healthcare to keep old people alive a few extra years on average?
