Youth are Africa’s greatest asset. Join Mr Eazi and Sherrie Silver as they team up with the United Nations’ International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) to help bring attention to the millions of rural youth in Africa, and around the world, who are ready to help make the world more food secure.

In the lead up to International Youth Day 2019 — join them and dance for change:

This new music video from director Olle Enqvist featuring ‘Freedom’ by Mr Eazi, Guiltybeatz and J.Derobie, was shot on location with young farmers from rural Cameroon from an IFAD-supported project which is working to create jobs and reduce poverty for young people. If we raise our voices, we can make sure world leaders invest more in agriculture and empower young people in Africa, and around the world, to increase food production, provide jobs and reduce poverty.

The #DanceforChange challenge, launched this week on TikTok, the short-form mobile video platform, acts as a virtual petition and asks world leaders to invest more in sustainable agriculture and young people as a means to end global poverty and hunger. IFAD will use each dance video to call on leaders to increase funding for agriculture and create opportunities for rural young people around the world.
