ABOUT THE GOOD PLACE
From creator Michael Schur (“Brooklyn Nine-Nine,” “Parks and Recreation” and “Master of None”) comes a unique comedy about what makes a good person. The show follows Eleanor Shellstrop (Kristen Bell, “House of Lies,” “Veronica Mars”), an ordinary woman who enters the afterlife, and thanks to some kind of error, is sent to the Good Place instead of the Bad Place (which is definitely where she belongs). While hiding in plain sight from Good Place Architect Michael (Ted Danson - “Cheers,” “CSI” - in an Emmy Award-nominated performance), she’s determined to shed her old way of living and earn her spot.

It almost feels like by picking the "worst" person for Tahani the Bad Place actually sent her the best person to test how far she's come. John is honest with her in a way that not even Eleanor ever quite managed, and Tahani seems to be helping him face front with his own issues.

I love how far Tahani has come. Befriending someone, she in the past never would have given a chance Those demons better not do anything to spoon this up, they are some real benches those demons. I will be so sad, when this show is over. I want a spin off

The Bad Place is making the same mistake they made with the Soul Squad. In trying to create a group meant to torture each other they inadvertently created a group that helps each other improve.

Oh my god... the Bad Place made the same mistake Michael did when picking their people! Michael picked Elenor and Chidi as way forcing two totally different people to torture each other, but they ended falling in love!!! Giving humans a huge torturous challenge doesn’t even stop them, it just makes them stronger!!! Damn this is a good show.

This is actually really sweet. I couldn't stand John when we met him at the end of Season 3, but I adore him now. He actually seems like he'd be fun to be with.

I know Brent is supposed to be the worst of the group, but John actually got my blood boiling more, because Brent is just some oblivious entitled dummy too thick to see the harm he causes. John actively tried to hurt people and then made up transparent excuses to justify himself.

It’s funny because in ways Shawn made an even bigger mistake with his choices than Michael did, he chose John to mess with tahani, chose Simone to mess with chidi, chose Linda to replace Janet with a bad Janet, and chose Brent to mess with well everyone, the mistake was that all of this only made the task harder which yeah seems like a plus but if anything it made the fact that they won all the more impressive plus all their choices backfired, bad Janet eventually switched sides and helped them save the universe, tahani having a previous connection to John made it easier to help him, chidi having a connection to Simone caused him to have Michael reboot him and then they swapped Linda for him, and Brent being a complete and utter arse made it all the more amazing that everyone managed to improve despite having someone so unbelievably annoying around every day
