I see so many hate messages, people including women think she is a man hating woman, it's not right. She is such a hard working woman and an inspiration to young woman like us.

She is such an inspiration to young girls around the world. I look up to her everyday, as I'm currently reading her amazing book.

This will never change until the time comes when a man can say, "I want to be a stay at home dad" and it's socially acceptable life choice as it would be for a woman. Right now, even most women would probably. Men are more ambitious partly because it's expected of them.

Listening in 2022. The more I leaned in, the more so was ignored… even with a degree and leadership awards.

Read her book and loved it so much. So inspired and so grateful to have a leader to do something like this.

I am reading her book right now and I think she has been quite open and candid about her experiences and she even provides us with tools to "lean in".
But I think women need to have that balance while "leaning in ".

It's really depressing that this person is getting as much recognition as she has. She is more privileged than 90% of americans, a pure hypocrite who's fraudulent studies have been debunked countless times. Nobody's against women empowering themselves to do what they want, but telling people how they should live their lives is what she's doing.

@4:40 What "institutional barriers" and "terrible public policy" is holding women back from going after their careers and dream jobs?

One of the problems about Sandberg (as good as a person as she is), is that when she speaks, her speeches are based on the false premise that women aren't already doing what she is talking about, and IMHE, a lot of them are.  Saying "lean in" doesn't impress me when many, if not most, of them women I've worked with already are "leaning in."

She makes me want to lean in instead of sitting back. Women can have a spot in the board room or that corner office . With drive, determination, and hard work .

I believe Sandberg has useful advice in terms of career choices for women. As a man, I feel like I could use some of her advice such as, being persistent, "leaning in", and so on. Though it seems rather like common sense. The "Ban Bossy" campaign did make her lose some credibility though.

Why has she stopped comments on her pages?

Love all of the jealous men in the comments. Would you be commenting on a male COO's interview saying, "Disgusting, I'd like to see him burp babies and cook dinner."

The problem with these tech geniuses, is they truly believe they are geniuses, they get lost in the speed and money, and at the end of the day checking hubris is not of high priority. How do we know that's true? They write a book and turn it into an inhuman religious montra that the world MUST accept or its somehow will lose. But reality always shows its head to these people eventually in either a massive data breach that crushes their company, or an abandoning of a user base over a dumb tweet or stupid personal action. What's truly heartbreaking to it all in the context of the tech world is that, perhaps, a life is better lived with far far far less technology and much much much more humanity. But, the narcissistic temperament of these people creates a self demanding principle -survive of live a life of shame. Sucks. It's a life for rich pompous chumps and truly almost a greek tragedy.
