SPRINGTIME IN CHICAGO: Ping Tom Park in Full Bloom [4K]

April 12, 2021 - With Chicago deep into spring, things are starting to look a little bit more green. I cycled around Ping Tom Memorial Park to check out the springtime foliage. The park, which borders the south branch of the Chicago River near Chinatown, has beautiful landscaping and a great view of the city skyline.

Thanks for showcasing this park. I rode down there today from Belmont-Cragin. I never go south of the Loop except maybe the occasional ride to Navy Pier (haven't checked out the flyover yet. Saw your video on that so it's on my to-do list). Ping Tom Park is great. It was nice to rest up by the river, take in the city from a different perspective and even had a freight train pass by. Your video got me to leave my Northside bubble and check out a part of the city I'm unfamiliar with. Thanks!
