Monty, Kelly, Joe and Jill, you are the ones that have inspired me to pick up role-playing again.
I was in the grips of the consuming darkness of a terrible depression.
Then I watched the three episodes that had been released of Dungeons of Drakkenheim.
This inspired me to at least try D&D again.
Now I DM two campaigns and play in two as well. I have reconnected with old friends and made many new ones.

Since months I have been wondering how you would manage it when the two groups would inevitably meet. I was sort of shocked that you just went for the double roleplay and even more shocked that you just pulled it off like that. Playing a meeting of 8 or more characters dynamically with four people? It is just impressive!

I'm following this journey since May 2018 on the Dungeon Dudes channel and can say I did indeed watch almost every video that is uploaded. So glad I found this channelback then and I can't wait to recieve the complete kickstarter package in a few months.

I just realized that the red light in Joe's room is Ingatius being lit up and is the indicator for Joe speaking as Pluto. What a subtle and amazing way of doing that.

Writing it here cos I'm still stuck gleefully in the backlog but I think Monty is the best dm I've seen.

Not due to the massive and comprehensive worldbuilding although that is an amazing part. I think he makes an effort to make his players feel a part of a world as well as giving them treats that don't come often but always leave the players beaming and thus me beaming like a dickhead. Thanks Monty! There are times when this show is all I can tolerate of humanity 😂

It's taken me over a year, but I'm finally caught up with this.

I originally looked up The Dungeon Dudes in preparation for running a one-shot for some new players, but I got into the absolute *magic* of Drakkenheim. You've kept me company and cheered me up during some pretty hard times over that period. I'm so incredibly proud of everyone involved with the book. To have such incredible success with a project like that would have been unheard of even a couple of years ago. Thank you for being such an inspiration, and for all the laughs and heartfelt moments. I can't *wait* for Season 3!
