First Look at AP Royal Oak 15510 with Gray Dial

Today I'm taking a look at my friend's brand new AP Royal Oak 15510. It's a subtle but significant redesign from the 15500 because its much cleaner and in many way perfected. The dial in my opinion cannot be done any better, and it comes with an anniversary 50years rotor to celebrate the Gerald Genta legacy.

Tim Write, the first on YouTube with the new 15510. An incredible assessment by one of the most important people in the watch community. Cheers nice work!

Timmy great footage, one of the best visuals in natural lighting of that watch i hav3 seen on camera, makes me want one, & royal oak is normally bottom of my list in this genre, great job!

Light play is incredible on the RO, and now more so with the way they're doing the logo. I always thought the pad printed logo made it feel like it wasn't 100% refined. They really did it with this one, especially the touch with the "50 years" on the rotor.

@Tim Write the word "Automatic" at 6 o'clock, was already removed on the previous 15500 model...

Great video bud. Shame the Jumbo extra thin 39mm is so bloody expensive as this IMO has the best dimensions, but beautiful watch nonetheless.

I got mine a few weeks ago as well. Seems like they’re shipping this model currently. I do wish they did the 50 year rotor in gold

Great video Tim! Congrats! Masterpiece this AP…
May I know the size of your wrist? Would you recommend it for a daily use? Robust enough?
Thanks!!

not bad, but 15400 is still my favorite and go to.

My opinion is that these watches have no business being this big. Integrated bracelets make a watch look much bigger, so this looks like a 43mm round watch, which is okay if u look for that or if you have a 7.5inch+ wrist. But most people should try the 37 and 39mm RO watches before even getting on a "list" for a 41mm one.

I wonder what's the new rotor made of? Is it white gold or stainless steel? it obviously looks silver. I'm asking because in 15500st it's made of rose gold I believe. Does anyone know?
