I feel like a lot of people don't understand (or don't want to understand) asexuality. I'm heteroromantic but asexual and I'm honestly tired of having to explain that, even though I'm married, I'm totally fine with not having sex with my partner. Like, people have literally told me that my husband will leave me if I don't sleep with him. Hearing that from conservative people is disgusting, but even more disgusting is hearing people who are part of LGBTQA+ community saying that I don't matter and can't be a part of the community since I'm "technically straight" and "can't be attracted to a certain gender BUT ALSO not want to have sex with them"
