Absolutely LOVE this movie. Joaquin Phoenix's performance is AMAZING. Mental Illness is a epidemic in this country and so many people go untreated and suffer daily.

If you can recall in a previous scene, Arthur intended to kill himself on TV. The ominous music and the zoom in on the “hope my death makes more cents than my life” page building up to it was intense.

in this scene everyone praises Phoenix's performance, but what about De Niro? He doesn't seem to be acting, he's a giant

Has anyone noticed that when Joker enters, his eye’s blue make up is perfect but when Murray starts mocking him and his Jokes, it starts getting blurry, which shows us he is crying.

0:18 is a beautiful captured picture. I love that the curtains represents Arthurs colours on his suit, showing to the viewer that he has become the Joker
