This is the only movie that ever gave me inspiration in everything I ever did in this life and I'm still going at it. Thanks to you Sylvester Stallone and Carl Weathers.

Rocky is my favorite movie. This movie became an iconic film, it became an instant classic, and won 3 Academy awards. To this day the theme is being heard in commercials and who can forget the scene where Rocky gulps down 5 raw eggs and drinks the whole glass. I am convinced that scene started America on a health kick back in the mid 70s.

I was just a kid when it hit theaters, but I remember so, so well what an incredible phenomenon it was. The whole country was lit by it. Only movies like _Star Wars_ or _Jaws_ come close to what I'm talking about, and I'm not sure _Rocky_ doesn't take the cake. Yes, Star Wars was bigger, higher-grossing, and also lit up pop culture like nothing else. _Rocky_ was like that, too, though, and the feeling was just so... _concentrated..._ _potent._ It was really something. Of course, nothing like it happens anymore, and probably can't ever again.
