The day is 31 December 2022.

Three members of the University of Nairobi SDA church (UoNSDA) lost their lives while at the mission field on an evangelistic campaign. The hearts of the families of the deceased, and the UoNSDA family - students and associates - are bleeding and broken. It was a sad way to end the year and a dismaying way to begin the new year 2023.

We take heart in the words of this song. Surely, heaven will have no disappointments, no bleeding and broken hearts, no funeral trains, and no graves for there we shall no more die. And moreover, what a joy it will be when we see them and our Saviour in that beautiful city!

Please pray for the families, the student missionaries, and UoNSDA church at large.

It is the most wonderful feeling, when you preached to African peoples, that there is a future City of Gold, the new Jerusalem! What a Joy it will be when we Saved by His Grace, His Face we will see.

I woke up this morning after dreaming about one of my children, who I love more than life itself, but who has developed a coldness and bitterness against me and the God we serve. I found myself crying as soon as I woke up, and immediately went here to hear you sing one of my favorite comfort hymns. I cannot state this strong enough! GOD BLESS YOU PRECIOUS YOUNG PEOPLE!!! Who knew that one day a white person over in the United States was going to need to hear the hope of which you sing, as well as seeing the Lord Jesus Christ radiating out of your lovely eyes! This song reminds me of my Dad and aunts, this was one of their favorite songs, they love singing it. I hope to see them in Heaven where we will continue singing. They are resting in their graves awaiting the resurrection.
