This scene reinforces why Naruto is my favorite character. Underneath all of that confidence and energy, is someone who only wants to know who his parents are and to be loved by them.

You know, every time I remember this scene I always wonder how things would have played out if RtN Kushina didn’t jump in. The difference between her and Minato compared to Naruto’s actual parents is that they’re more protective of their son to the point where they’re too scared to let him go out on his own in certain situations while the latter ones actually believe he can accomplish amazing feats on his own without the need for them to step in. While this scene is great, it really says a lot about the counterparts and it will always make me wonder how different things would have turned out if they had more faith in their child like the OG ones would have.
