The Master: Back & Forth

Paul Thomas Anderson’s THE MASTER is a film that emphasizes the idea of going backwards. From Lancaster Dodd’s beliefs of time travel, to Freddie’s regression, to the fact that the film is bookended with with the same shot of Freddie nestling into the sand. So what happens when we play the film forwards and backwards simultaneously? This video does just that, showcasing what may be some significant findings.
