The two-day symposium explored three centuries of fascinating connections between Alabama and French history and Featured experts from across the Southeast speaking on a variety of topics including Fort Toulouse, Fort Tombecbe, the Vine and Olive Colony, wartime alliances, French architecture and material culture in Alabama, and Mardi Gras.
