In this lecture, we will cover Class 6 geography NCERT chapter 7. "Our Country - India" (Part 2)

In chapter 7, we will study about India and its geography - geographic features, location, international neighbours, political and administrative divisions, and physical divisions. In this second part, we will cover the international neighbours of India - land neighbours, landlocked neighbours, and sea neighbours. Then, we will study India's states and union territories, and important facts about their formation. We will also study the details of physical features like the Himalayas (Great Himalayas or Himadri, Middle Himalayas or Himachal, and Outer Himalayas or Shiwalik). All the points of the chapter have been explained in a very easy manner. This way, it will be very simple to understand these concepts for class 6 exams, as well as, various competitive exams, like UPSC, bank PO, cds, ssc gl, etc.

Question- strait separates two water bodies right?
So, palk strait must be separating indian ocean and bay of bengal also?
Two landmasses are separated by isthmus as you explained in previous chapter
