Oh wow. I like that. Simple construction, easy take down, overbuilt lock, easily replaceable and order-able springs, plus my new favorite genre of lock (the modified lockback). I’m down!

You made me want one. So, I got the 30% Discount at the Cold Steel Site and bought the Black one for $173, shipped. I can't wait to see it. It looks like an awesome SDUEDC Folder. I am glad they didn't make it too small. I am looking forward to the Swift III next... :-) Peace, Stiletto :-)

Thanks for the disassembly video. I was wondering why the big cutout in the heel of the blade and as suspected, it's to fit the lock-bar mechanism when the blade is folded in the handle. Production quality looks top-notch. You can see they scalloped the blade tang to meet up with the stop pin for more/better contact. Really good. These are Taiwan-made if I recall correctly.

Also, I actually like this lock design better than the Shark Lock because the pull tab is completely out of the way. This knife really has a lot going for it, including the uncomplicated design aesthetic.

Would be interesting if they did a version with thinner blade stock and slightly thicker handle scales, maybe in G10, and at a lower price point.

Thanks for a nice cover of this new and interesting deviation from CS's stable..and I agree with you on the ticonnectors being much better. 👊🤙

I always like folding knife with less part like this. Some of their triad lock have so many small pins. This one doesn't have much small parts. One of the reasons I picked Framelocks too.

Phosphor bronze washers may be the saving grace of this being good work knife the hardware and heat treat are up to par. Heat treat seems to be a massive problem with mass produced knives in 2024

Got this one in 2 days ago and it’s freaking amazing, it’s my only cold steel model.

I was surprised how good this looked/looks when I saw Stassa’s video. I’m watching this on silent currently. Is this China made or Taiwan?

It is very weird at first because it is thin compared to "normal" knives. I bet a polished handle version would sell really well too.

Big time bummer that it's T6 on the body screws. The only screws I've ever stripped are T6 which is why I won't spend my money on a knife that has them, except on the clip which still sucks. I can't even fathom why companies are still using them when the entire community has said they need to be T8 for years.
