I always felt that the pathfinder tool was unpredictable but the more I’ve gotten comfortable with it the more I’ve used it and the more indispensable it’s become. Add the pathfinder and shape builder and you’re unstoppable!!

Hey, you can use alt + shape builder tool to delete the parts you don’t need.

I normally just stick to pen tool and smooth tool for everything. I definitely need to get in the habit of using some of these other techniques too!

I didn’t realise about the centre feature on type on a path. I’ve spent hours of frustration trying to get text aligned properly. Thanks for the tip.
