Fixing my Volvo 240s broken exhaust for $8!!

I have done many exhaust system repairs. Another product I recommend is JB weld steel stick. Available at home depot. Temperature to 350 degrees sets in approximately 1 hour cost about $8.00 Has worked well for me, and easy to apply because you knead the inner and outer parts in your hands until a uniform color, then press it in where needed. Hey I have some exhaust leaks on my 84’ 244DL auto N/A. Anyways I was thinking of just replacing the whole thing with IPD Sport Stainless. What do you suggest doe the header/down pipe for slightly louder/better performance. Don’t want it too loud just a little over stock

Hey! I've got an '88 244 and was wondering what the stance on your car is like? Mine is stock and sits about 2 inches higher in the front than it does in the rear. It's a bit difficult to tell if yours is the same way from the videos. Love these 240's and hope you keep up the vids!

My 85 240 is broken in the exact same spot. I was able to slide the flange back into the converter and I used JB weld. I should have used something like this my first time but the stuff I used wasn't rated for catalyst temperatures.

project, what happens, is since that has an after market tailor, and where it connects that tends to rust, then you have those noises, that would make a difference, is 8t the drivers chair that has a rup by the seams, they sell a repair kit, and once the the hole has been fixed it you use a heat gun to put it back in, the way it is supposed to be, the rear license plate part you need you can get at a junkyard, there are a couple like pick a part, and some others you would be surprised how much you can get to put that car back in top shape.
