At 11:30, when you go to drag the audio clip over, on my Inspector there are no options underneath "PlayerFootsteps (Script)"... it simply saysscript, not WaterStep sound and watercool variables etc... Help!

Found it thanks to SpeedTutor, I'm a dumb-dumb. I wasn't referring to the actual GameObject in the GameObject.Find(). I was referring the the CharacterController itself. Misunderstood and upon reading it now it makes more sense, I just need to pay attention to details better. But thanks for your help!

I just fixed my problem. Make sure your First Person Controller is tagged with the tag "Player" in it's properties =D. By default, they came "untagged". For me it worked =D

Btw, the "pink block" is checked with the "is trigger" box. =D

Do you mean within Unity or do you mean finding an actual audio file on the internet?

You could shorten your AudioClip to less than a second, but I will look into stopping the clip via code in the future.

Hey man, thanks for all these and please don't quit ever... Can yiu make a tutorial about map where dots are level's. When you beat level you get tiny dot road to next level... like candy crush saga and other saga games...

When my player is on the "pink block" the sound is not playing. I saw in your screen the little box with the "inWater", from the player audio footstep, auto check when you get to the block. But mine is not working. I have already checked the script, and it's the same as yours. I also have some other scripts in my player, i don't know if it has anything to do with it, but.. My sound is not working, only if i manually check the "inwater"box. Can you help me?

I often use: freesoundproject(.org) make yourself an account and you can download royalty free sounds! :)

I don't know any C# and I want to change it so that when I sprint, the delay between sounds gets shorter

about a) letting the sound fade or stop when my character stops in the water and b) stop when I get out of the water?

I understand this is probably more of an advanced audio implementing situation and if it's too much of a hassle to explain (I feel like this could be a whole other video) no biggie, just thought I'd ask here
