I figured this out a few years ago and felt so clever. I wanted to change some notes that midi FX were changing. I saw you posted this video and thought “oh shit. Is he going down the same path? Bam, yep”

Very helpful - thank you! I'm just about to purchase an interesting generative MIDI sequence generator plugin called Hexcel, and being able to record its output onto a MIDI track was the missing link. Since Logic's own documentation doesn't cover this, I really appreciate that you're helping to pick up the slack!
