Amazing Tailwind Component Library

If you like Tailwind you are going to love DaisyUI. It has every component you'll need for a stock application, it's themable, and it's free open source. I'm using it in every Tailwind project I create now. Highly recommended. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We have completed full circle. Congratulations to daisy ui for re-inventing bootstrap

this is literally what the tailwind docs tells you not to do

React + Tailwind solves this. You can just create a button component and then reuse it. Plus, it’s easier to encapsulate things like dark mode and different variants

Its like Bootstrap went on a Tailwind mission..lol

I like Tailwind because it forces you to make components so you don't have to look at a giant block of utility classes. And I LOVE the way it scales. I can call the relative class a thousand times, and the JIT compiler only outputs that one class.

The first React UI "component" library I used. I think half of my appreciation for tailwind has to be credited to this library.

Great guys, we made it full circle, we are back at Bootstrap!

People who think it’s bad practice, check it out first, even though for example the html class makes a button you have 100% freedom on changing any aspect of it with more tailwind css classes you add to it

Add an abstraction over an abstraction

Awesome. Really just not a fan of tailwind but everyone seems to be in love with it.

Tailwind is a CSS approach that can reduce your CSS requests for projects using Next. Bootstrap is a bloated UI library that is specific to client components.

I guess that is what I was missing. Tried to use tailwind directly. I under the good points about it, but those classes or creating custom classes was not for me. I see there is a daisyui version for react components. I don't want to add class names but rather set props om components. Thanks for tip!

Daisy's great, y'know why? Because as opposed to shadcn, which is also pre-styled components (like bootstrap), everything renders on the server! That's a huge +

Back to 2011.... and to 2006 with server components 🎉

that is why the tailwind docs tell you that you can make your own classes so you dont have to spam the elements with classes
