Performed at the CalArts Digital Arts Expo in May 2017 by Nigel Deane, violin and Timothy Johnson, electronics. Composed by Nigel Deane. The electronic element being used was a digital instrument I programmed using Max/MSP, and was initially designed specifically for this piece. Large sections of the piece are improvised with certain structural guidelines given for aesthetic suggestion.
