My cat actually does the same as the first one. Accept he’s pretty much always known it’s a gesture of affection because I’ve done it since he was a kitten. It was cute when he’d headbutt me then, but now that he’s bigger it kinda hurts 😂

My cat actually does this, and he also knows kissy noises means he gets love and pets when I make them

I kind of taught my cat to count, on accident.
He would come up and head butt me, so I started kissing the top of his head. Eventually after he head butt me and I would kiss his head, he started licking my forhead, but I would stop him after 5 licks, and then scratch his neck.

Well, after years of playing this game, he now automatically stops after licking my forehead 5 times. I no longer have to stop him.

I know he isn't actually counting, but it sure is pretty cool.

BTW his head butts are the best. Love that fluffy chunk.

My old cat luey(he passed a couple months ago) would do that first one too. It was one of my favorite things. He was such a good and silly boy💚

My old dog used to do the same kinda thing as the first story. He would come right up alongside us, and put his head under ours, and lift his nose up so he would basically forcefully lever his nose into mine. It hurt but as soon as I realized why he was doing it, it was very sweet.

My cat taught me that when he rubs his nose on mine…he wants something and when he rubs his nose on my hand he wants pets or scratches

To be fair my cat bites me when shes over stumulated but still wants cuddles. I cant touch her but she still wants me to try to pet her.

That first one is like my cat, took him a bit to get that kisses are a sign of affection, but not when he wants attention he will go charging face first into my head
