Deleting the App Store

I'm generally in favor of what the EU is doing but this seems a bit too far. Should apple allow 3rd party app stores/ app launchers? Sure sounds great. But there's a lot of stupid people in the world who are gonna complain they accidentally deleted the app store and can't get it back. I don't really think it's anticompetitive for Apple to have a default app store as long as they allow alternatives...

EU would probably deem a button built into the system to download the app store anti-competitive.

I know this is a crazy thought to you. But for most of the phones in the world it's actually possible to download an app from the internet and not the app store. Also, being able to delete whatever YOU want on YOURE phone is how things should be

Mac Rumors says that your not literally deleting it and your just hiding it through settings.

I deleted the app store before but it's on something I used like 7 or 6 yrs ago and I don't use it anymore

If a kid doesn't know what different apps are or how to read then keep them away from phones or tablets 😂
