The annual Chinatown Parade in Edmonton, AB - Saturday January 28, 2023 🦁
Our amazing Team of Students, Parents, Volunteers and Instructors braved the cold of -17°c (wind chill -26°c) from 10:00 AM - 4:30 PM for a very important cultural parade!
It is a tradition that the local Lion Dance Teams head out to Chinatown to bless all the local businesses, bringing them prosperity, happiness and good luck for the new year!
This cultural practice can be seen worldwide! 🙌

Jing Ying is a non-profit organization that promotes Traditional and Modern martial arts in the Province of Alberta. We have trained many top athletes that have gone on to represent Canada in numerous competitions.
