I am in California, I do ship in summer depending on max temp. I never use cold pack with tropical fish, and always insulated boxes.

It depends, I used New Era grazers which has a Yellow Tang on the front and its fine for freshwater although they make a tropical grazer now.

At my local fish store i found this algae grazer food. is that only for saltwater because there were tangs on the cover?

What is highest temperature you shipped them at? Is it ok to ship with Styrofoam insulated boxes at 86 F.
