I found my DeLorean in a cave on my property. It was in the cave for 80 years. All it needed was new tires and time circuits.

I inherited my dmc, I was the youngest delorean owner for a little bit but yes it took about 15-20 the get it back to where it was drivable and safe! It sat in a barn for around 11 years

I remember my dad buying one in 1981. He bought it at a dealership in San Diego California. It was the coolest thing I’ve ever seen at that time. He had it for about 14 years and then sold it for like $2500.

Mine was #3. Used car lot in Ocala Florida. Long funny story on it's and years of hands on work. Thankfully I'm a mechanic. Re building it I learned a lot about what went into the original design and where it was originally headed.

John c DeLorean also worked on another car that was just as wild for the day, the 1963 Pontiac Tempest lemans. 329ci V8, independent rear suspension and a rear trans-axle for 50/50 weight distribution.

fun fact, DeLorean took the same ideas used on the tempest lemans and brought them to Ferrari!
