Hello! For this video I made a baby blanket in the shape of a star and I loved it so much that I am so exited to share it with you all.
^^ This is the Yarn that I used for my project and I used a 4.5mm hook so keep in mind that any changes that you all make to the material or to size of hook will change the outcome of how your project looks. But also don't be scared to experiment!!!
I would love to hear how ya'll's projects turn out so please let me know in the comments : )
And as always Happy Crocheting!!!

*round 1* 0:45
1. magic circle
2. 20 dc into magic circle (for me this only allowed me to make 4 points, if you have the same problem try 25dc!)
3. pull together
4. ss into 1st stitch

*round 2* 3:18
1. sc into 2nd ch from hook
2. 3 dc into 2nd ch from hook
3. ch 3
4. 3 dc into same stitch
5. sc into 2nd ch from hook
6. repeat steps 2-5 until you have all 5 points of the star
7. ss into the very first sc

*round 3* 7:46
1. ss into next stitch
2. dc into the next two stitches
3. 3 dc into ch3 space
4. ch3
5. 3 dc into ch3 space
6. dc into next two stitches
7. skip the two stitches closest to hook
8. repeat steps 2-7 until you get back to the beginning
9. ss into the very first dc

*round 4* 14:23
1. ss into next stitch
2. dc into same stitch
3. dc into next 3 stitches
4. 3 dc into ch3 space
5. ch3
6. 3 dc into ch3 space
7. dc into 'same stitch' (15:42) and next 3 stitches
8. skip next 2 stitches
9. dc into next 4 stitches (after the two skipped)
10. continue on with the pattern (3dc into ch3 space, etc)

*changing colours + round 5* 18:02
1. ss to join the end of the last round
2. yarn over + pull through with the new colour
3. slip stitch into same stitch
4. dc into each stitch (6 total)
5. 3 dc into ch3 space
6. ch 3
7. 3 dc into ch3 space
8. skip the next two stitches + continue on with the pattern, finish round with ss

*round 5+*
1. ss into next stitch
2. dc into the next ... stitches (in each round, the total dcs needed before you dc into the ch3 space is 2 more than in the previous round, for example round 4 = 6 dc total, round 5 = 8 dc total, round 6 would = 10 dc total, and round 7 = 12 dc total)

*whilst crocheting my star, i noticed that past the rounds shown in the video i kinda stopped keeping count of the stitch count, so you don't really need to keep an exact count once you get the hang of the pattern

I've been crocheting for around 2 weeks now, did 6 smaller projects and now I decided to try this and honestly, that's the best tutorial that I've seen. everything is so clearly explained and not too speed. thank u very much for sharing!!

In case you guys wanna make the 6 day blanket this pattern works for it. You just gotta add 5 more dc on the firsy round for every star point you want. I did about 25 and got 6 pointed star.

This is the one and only tutorial that allowed me to get the kind of star I wanted. I love the way you showed all of the repeating parts, it helped me build my confidence with knowing what came next until I could do it on my own. Thank you so much for this video !!

I swear she’s skipping a stitch here and there and not mentioning it. Because I can’t get the smaller holes right at the start/end of the round.

Unsure why people are having issues. I followed this and had zero issues, including using 20 in the magic circle and got the 5 points no problem. I thought this was a great and easy to follow pattern. Thanks for posting!

I appreciate your tutorial. It was so easy to follow. I’ve tried following others, but they were so confusing and difficult you made yours beautiful and simple. Thank you.

This tutorial is incredible! I haven't picked up a crochet hook since I was maybe 7 years old, and I was able to follow this with no problem! Fantastic

I just started crocheting a month ago and this will be my first time making a star blanket!⭐️I’m at the point where I just repeat the round until I’m done. SO HAPPY with this tutorial—you did a wonderful job explaining and reiterating each step. Sending my love and appreciation. ((:
